Can Linen Be Organic?
Here's the good news:
Linen is actually almost always grown organically. Unlike conventional cotton, linen grows really well in a variety of climates without the use of toxic synthetic herbicides or pesticides. So even though you’re not likely to see third-party organic certifications on linen garments and home goods, it’s safe to assume that it’s probably grown organically.
